Julian Sanchez

Julian Sanchez (he/they) was born and raised in Miami, Florida and began his dance training at Dance Town at the age of 9. He graduated from New World School of the Arts in 2020 before being admitted into the Juilliard School. During his time there, he has performed works by Bobbi Jene Smith and Or Schraiber, Ohad Naharin, Hofesh Shechter, Trisha Brown, Jamar Roberts, Rena Butler and Tiler Peck, amongst others. He attended summer programs with Ballet BC, GagaLab, Jacob’s Pillow and b12 Dance Festival. Often contributing to Student Choreographic Workshops, Julian’s work was selected for Choreographic Honors in 2023 and 2024. He most recently premiered a new work at Juilliard’s Senior Production 2024.  Julian would like to thank his parents, Belen and Andres, his family, friends and teachers for their constant support throughout his dance endeavors past, present and future.
